WE LOVE TRAINS! We had a day off a few months back (February) and decided it had been a while since we'd hit the train museum. So we ventured out to Old Town Sac and the nasty rainy windy weather and had a really great time! The kids were pretty good, although Simon was pretty intimidated by the GIGANTIC Engines and cars and he did NOT want to go for a ride. Which was really not part of the plan anyway, but he was convinced we were not telling him the truth. Eventually his curiosity got the best of him and he made his way onto one of the cars to check it out. The fun model trains on the second floor, as well as the Thomas Train sets for the kids to play with held everyone's attention for at least another hour or two. Kind of fun to feel successful after taking 4 little ones to a "museum" for a day
