Getting through the Summer

We still had a few more weeks of summer left and I needed to find some things to do with the kids to get us through. One day, we found a super fun park called "Clemyjontri Park" which was only about 15 minutes away. It was big and clean. Kind of geared toward smaller kids as well as handicapped children. My kids thought it was really fun, with all kinds of play structures and a small Carousel in the middle.

Another day, some new friends of ours invited us to a Peach farm to go pick fresh peaches. There were also goats, cows, pigs, and chickens at this farm, which my kids loved.

About a week later, we got invited to Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, which is also pretty close by. We went with Lindsey and Colby Sanders, our newly found "family" who live in Herndon. Lindsey is Neal's brother's wifes' brother's wife. Haha! I Love family connections!! The kids loved all the animals and little tractors at this park also!! It was nice to get out and find something new to do!
