We are slowly but surely finding our niche in Virginia. However much we miss CA, we are finding really great things about this beautiful place (when it isn't raining at least).
A Few of our Favorite Things:
1. Our Super Fun, ULTRA HIGH, tire swing in the backyard!
2. The fact that we literally live in the woods, so a backyard campfire really feels like we are camping!
3. We live just a few miles from beautiful nature hikes in places like Great Falls (and amazing single track trails that Neal has really enjoyed exploring).
4. There are 7 Elevens on every corner! This summer my kids wanted Slurpees every other day. Now its just a fun place for treats or even hot dogs! (I feel embarrassed to mention my kids addiction to Shipley Donuts and Baskin Robbins, which are also very abundant and easy to find out here).
5. The Fall scenery is pretty amazing....when the weather is cooperating.
We feel blessed to be here, and to have made some new friends and to have a wonderful ward. We are really just glad to be together (even though Neal has to go away for a week or so here and there).
Unfortunately we have had a very wet fall, so the leaves are taking a while to change. But the colors are still quite beautiful and we are hoping the weather stays crisp and dry so we can enjoy it before the dreaded winter hits.

OK. seriously. This post made me miss you guys so much :( I LOVE all the beautiful pictures! It looks like a whole different world there. It makes me want to come visit so bad! The scenery is gorgeous!! Love that last picture of Justin and his amazingly expressive eyes... You're getting really good at your photography! Miss and love you and all those kiddos so much!!

The kids are all so cute. I agree with Kari! I love the woods too. Can't wait to come and see the kids. Mema misses everyone!
