Happy Birthday to Justin: 6 Years Old!!

Justin turned 6 on March 3rd!

That morning, Neal and I took cupcakes up to Justin's Kindergarten class for snack-time. Justin was so excited when everyone in his class sang to him. We had a small celebration that evening at home. He requested Quesadillas for dinner and I bought him his favorite frosting cookies for dessert (instead of cake, since we did cupcakes at school). He was just as happy to blow out his six candles stuck in a cookie. In some ways, Justin is quite easy to please, believe it or not.

We had a little birthday party for Justin at Extreme Gymnastics on Saturday. He was so excited, and it turned out to be a brilliant idea! The kids had a blast and it was almost no work at all! He had such a great time! Thanks to all of his friends who came to help celebrate!

We are so proud of how much Justin has progressed over the past year. He is really doing great at school in his new kindergarten classroom! He loves to do his homework, and is even starting to read! He loves riding his bike, and his rip-rider. He still loves playing hide-and-seek and has now taught Simon to play along with him. Justin has developed a new love for drawing over the past year. His favorite things to draw include jets, airplanes, and rockets. He also loves to draw houses, cars, trucks and buses, and can copy almost anything anyone else draws.

Justin : 4 months old...how time flies!!

This is Kendall, Justin's very best buddy from his Kindergarten class.

Here are a few samples of Justin's most recent drawings:
