I just love it when Easter Sunday falls on the same weekend as General Conference. It's this perfect weekend of celebrating the wonderful and miraculous Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, and feasting upon the words of our latter-day Prophet and Apostles. We had a little Egg hunt on Saturday and then a very low-key Easter morning, and Easter Day.
The only downside was Neal was scheduled to fly out for a conference in Albuquerque, so our dinner plans were very simple and cut pretty short. And wouldn't you know it, Neal left for the airport at 5pm, boarded his flight at 7pm, sat on the runway for an hour and was back home and in bed by 9:30pm, with a rescheduled flight for the next morning. Lame. Still a wonderful weekend!
My kids listening attentively to conference. Trying to earn quarters for "word tallies". Worked well this time!
