Hinson Summer Utah Vacation!

Thursday night, June 18th, 2015:  Just three days after we got back from Virginia, we packed up and drove to Utah to pick up Millie from EFY, and to spend a week there.  We stayed at a Resort in Solitude, which was so breathtaking and amazing.  The condo had access to a very nice pool with a slide, that the kids really enjoyed!  Early Saturday morning we picked up Millie from EFY.  She had a blast of course!  Then we hiked the Y, spent time (and $$) at the bookstore, and toured BYU.  The kids were worn out, and happy to head back to the condo to swim.  We went to church Sunday morning at the Brighton Branch at Brighton Ski Resort (yes there was really a branch there)  The Brighton Branch met at a beautiful building set right up against the breathtaking mountain range.  There was a huge picture window with an amazing view of the mountains just behind and to the right of the pulpit; super neat experience!  We went to temple square that afternoon.  The next day we met up with Kelli, Shaun, Alexa, and Michael at Snowbird and spent the day there doing the alpine slide, mountain coaster and all the other fun rides in another heavenly place with breathtaking views.  That evening we went to a Kreutzer family reunion and saw some of my family I hadn't seen in years.  It was wonderful!  Tuesday we drove out past Ogden to a very beautiful scenic lake and rented a boat for the day.  The kids loved riding the tube all day long!  Wednesday I took the kids to see my great Aunt and second cousin while Neal went for an ultra long morning run in the mountains.  We all enjoyed ourselves!  We spent the rest of the day at the condo.  Thursday we went back to temple square and to the conference center.  Then we packed up and headed home a day early, anticipating youth conference coming on Friday evening.  I took a bazillion pictures and enjoyed every second of this much needed family time!  We made lots of memories I hope the kids will always treasure as much as I will!

This was our first home, except our entrance was on the left side, down to the basement.  You can barely see the windows of our actual home there on the left side.

Of course we had to take a trip to SLC International to see the flybys!
