Lego Cake Madness

February turned out to be quite a busy month.  Simons birthday, baptism, family in town, Neal deployed, Lucy turned one, and a Blue and Gold Banquet with a cake decorating contest to complicate things.  Luckily my amazing calm and collected and extremely creative Mother-in-Law was here to save the day, or at least the night before!  The theme was legos, and we came up with a simple block lego with frosting covered marshmallows for the toppers to keep things nice and simple.  When dealing with frosting, simple goes out the window.  In the end, Justin won First Place for most realistic lego cake!  My boys had a great time!
