"I'm Three!"

Our little Simon turned 3 on Saturday, February 6th! We had a small family birthday celebration with the Stacy's. Simon's favorite part was opening his Leapster (and of course he has no idea how to play the games, he just likes the push the buttons and listen to the music). Hopefully he will grow into it someday, we just knew that it was something he would LOVE! Historically, in our family, the terrible twos are just a mild introduction into the TORTUROUS Tantruming Threes! And Simons tantrums are pretty horrendous these days. He is probably our most stubborn and intense tantrum-er yet! Its a good thing he is quite an adorable charmer that knows how to manipulate EVERYONE! Some of Simon's favorite phrases are "What's up Dude", "I want to go to Old McDonalds" and "NOOOOOOOOO". He loves to sing songs for anyone who will give him attention. Some of his favorite tunes include "ABCs", "Snowman", "Give Said the Little Stream" and "I am a Child of God". Simon loves to ride his new Roadster Tricycle that Santa brought him for Christmas. He also loves to tease his brother Justin and play hide-and-seek with him. Simon started a little mini-preschool program last week. So far, he really looks forward to going! We just love our little Simon! Our lives would not be nearly as interesting without him!
