National Hinson Christmas Vacation 2010 - Part 1

Clark: "Burn some dust here. Eat my rubber."

On December 15, at 10pm, we loaded up our favorite minivan, dosed up the munchkins with liquid melatonin, and began our long journey to Houston for our Christmas Vacation. The good news is, Simon promptly fell asleep and slept until 6:30am! (The others slept also, but #3 is our challenge). We drove all the way to Las Cruces, New Mexico, thanks to Neal's mad driving skills. He drove all night while I caught a couple hours of sleep here and there. We made excellent time, arriving at our destination around 5pm on the 16th. We drove to Houston the next day, and got there around 9:30pm.

We relaxed and hung out with Neal's parents on Saturday and then went to dinner with the Hinson clan to celebrate Neal's cousin Riccoh's college graduation (without kids, which was such an earned break after our long drive together!). On Sunday after church, we headed up to see Kelli, Shaun, Alexa, and Michael. It was great to go spend some "alone time" with Kelli and Shaun. And the kids loved playing with Alexa and Michael! A great beginning to our fun Christmas week!

After dinner "YouTube" fun with the Hinsons.
