Neal pinned on Major on November 1st, and we all went up to Beale AFB to witness the event! Neal's parents came in town for the celebration too! We are so proud of Neal and all he has accomplished during the last 10 years in the Air Force. It was really great for the kids to see their daddy get promoted and be exposed to some official Air Force protocol. I will admit, I don't take the kids up to the base often enough, because we live about 40 minutes away. It is important for them to know what their daddy does, that he has dedicated his career to fighting for our freedom and he works really hard to do that! We are so proud of you Neal! You are my hero!
Some dear friends of ours decided it would be great for Neal to have a "Major Award" in honor of his promotion. On December 14th, the day before we left for our Christmas vacation, two very large packages arrived on our doorstep. Kevin and Barbie, this gift for Neal will forever be part of our annual Christmas Decor, and we will set it up in the window with love along with the rest of our Christmas stuff. Probably one of the best gifts ever!! Neal especially loved it!! Thank you!!
