We had a wonderful First Thanksgiving in Virginia. While we really miss all our friends and family in CA, we have gotten to know some new friends and "family" here in Virginia. We invited the Sanders family and the Erb family over for our Thanksgiving Feast this year, and it turned out to be a lot of fun and a really great combination. The Sanders are our local family. Cameron Sanders is Neal's sister-in-law's brother (Neal's brother Ryan is married to Tanya, Cameron's sister). The Erb family is in our ward here, and we have really enjoyed getting to know both of these families. It was just icing on the cake that Lindsey and Katie just happened to be amazing cooks so our meal was absolutely delicious! This year, Neal and I brined our turkey, which was new for us. It turned out perfect, thanks to my sister Kelli's wonderful advice. I enjoyed the day myself, and as a result took very few pictures :).
